USAID Scholarship Holders Graduated with Distinction!

In 2004, the United States Agency for International Development initiated the USAID Need and Merit Based Scholarship Programme in eleven partner universities of Pakistan. IM|Sciences is one of the proud recipients of this self exemplary indigenous fully funded financial aid programme. IM|Sciences has been awarded a total of 166 fully funded scholarships, amounting Rs. 62.26 million. This valuable financial aid programme assisted the Institute to establish a comprehensive and well-developed financial aid / scholarship scheme to provide financial support to talented but needy students from rural, marginalized and conflicted areas of Pakistan.

The most noticeable achievement of this program is the diversity of students at IM|Sciences. Due to the outstanding outreach communication strategies, Institute has been successful to attract applicants from each and every corner of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, FATA and Malakand Division. Only the number of FATA and Malakand Division students alone has increased to 751 in 2013 from 37 in 2004. As there is an extension of this program to eighteen (18) more sister universities in Pakistan, IM|Sciences team is excited to demonstrate their potentialities for achieving the objectives and overall success of this programme.

The following scholarship holders of HEC USAID and USAID Khushhali Bank Need Based Merit Scholarship Programs graduated with high distinction of Gold and Silver medals in IM|Sciences Convocation 2014. These high achievers were also invited by the Then Governor Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Engr. Shaukatullah, to the Governor House for Dinner and distributed cash prizes among them. He praised the efforts of USAID, IM|Sciences and above all the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan for initiation of such valuable financial aid program on national level for the benefit of financially deserving but talented students from far flung areas of Pakistan.
