CPPR is led by a Coordinator and supported by a diverse faculty of fellows specializing in local governance, conflict resolution, climate adaptation, gender issues, econometrics, and project management. The Centre also engages market-based experts and maintains a roster of data collection personnel hired on a need basis.

Dr. Zafar Zaheer serves at the Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar as an Associate Professor. And coordinator of the Centre for Public Policy Research (CPPR) at IMSciences. CPPR is a policy think tank which undertakes research assignments in collaboration with development partners and provides technical support to the government in policy related matters. Dr. Zafar has accomplished multiple research assignments as a team leader and lead analyst. His research work portfolio has depth and diversity including Rule of Law, Education, Health, Refugees, Land registration, social protection and social health protection, active labor market programs and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He has excellent research and analytical skills. As a team leader and lead analysts in previous assignments, he has developed and implemented survey methodologies, conducted interviews and focus group discussions, developed databases for quantitative and qualitative data, analyzed big data using statistical software such as STATA, capacity building of the team, manage the procurement, hiring and financial management of the research assignments. He has good working experience in almost all districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including merged areas and experience in Balochistan.
