Human Resource Development Center

The HRDC is one of the premier and most accomplished centers of the Institute. It was established in 2003 in line with the Institute’s strategic imperative to enhance and strengthen its overall scope not only in terms of academic programs but also through subject/discipline specific centers. Besides conducting applied and need-based research to generate knowledge, the center also assists the Institute to improve and enrich its own organizational structure as well as that of other public and private sector organizations by providing intensive human resource training and capacity building program.

HRDC operates on the entrepreneurial philosophy of self-reliance and self-sustenance: all projects and day to-day operations are dependent on the resources generated by the HRDC network. In this way, the HRDC makes tangible contributions to its parent organization besides adding to the overall value.

In 2009-10, the center conducted Capacity Building, Research & Development, and Technical Assistance projects with:

In 2009-10, about 4672 government functionaries, corporate managers, potential female leaders and local government representatives, CSO staff, Ulema, and Community leaders were the direct beneficiaries of the training programmes conducted by the HRDC. More..
