I am assuming we are working with SHR as our prefered distro.

• cd /home/moko/shr-unstable

Chose your preferred editor …. in my case it was vim.

• vi conf/auto.conf

change the MACHINE = “om-gta02″ to “qemuarm” or any of your choice from /home/shaz/moko/shr-unstable/openembedded/conf/machine. This directory has a huge list of supported machines for which any distro can be built! You can choose HTC Diamond or N800 or whatever you like and find there.

Now all you have to do is run “make” in /home/shaz/moko/shr-unstable.

• make

Sit back and watch for any errors and if you come accross any login to irc – freenode – #openmoko-cdevel and #oe.
