| HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT |

The Human Resource Development Center
(HRDC) of IMSciences helps the Institute to
improve and enrich its own and other organizations
(in the public and private sectors) human
resources training and development programmes
and services.
The Human Resources Development Center
(HRDC) mission is working towards developing
a culture among organizations to invest in
human resources, enabling employees to contribute
towards the growth of the organization
and enhancing their quality of work. IMSciences
HRDC has completed training programmes
for the Election Commission of Pakistan, the
Central Board of Revenue, Pakistan Computer
Bureau and Planning & Development Department,
Government of N-WFP. |

One of the strategic objectives of IMSciences
is its commitment to creating a center of excellence
for health management, health economics,
and health policy research with national and international recognition for efficient and
effective utilization of health care resources.
The motto of IMSciences center of excellence
in health management is “Advancing Knowledge,
Improving Health”. The Institute is running
MPH programmes under the aegis of the
Center. Extension of MPH programme to Ibn-
Sina, Kabul, Afghanistan is one of evidences of
internationally validation and acceptance of
IMSciences MPH programme. |

| MICRO FINANCE |

The Center of Excellence in Microfinance (CMF) is a specialized center of the Institute of Management Science Peshawar (IMSciences) in the field of microfinance education, research and capacity building. Established in 2004, CMF is a new initiative of its kind in Pakistan and one of the few such centers established across the globe.
The center is established with the aim to address the capacity building needs of the various stakeholders i.e., MFIs and trainers, bankers and policy-makers, etc that exist in the sector and facilitate the micro-finance movement through a cadre of trained managers and leaders.

| The Institute has a research and development
division, devoted to the
academic and empirical research in the
fields of business, industry, public enterprises
and other related areas. Such
work, besides harnessing students zest
for research and analysis, provides opportunity
to the Center to play its vital
role in national development by identifying
problems and suggesting solutions
which are practicable, viable and
feasible. The Division help facilitate,
coordinate and cooperate in research
projects and programmes undertaken
by sister research Institutions anywhere
at home and abroad. |
